PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
Teaching is noble profession dating back to the beginning of time. Values, beliefs and goals have changed drastically when it comes to education over the years. But one thing remains true: giving the gift of knowledge doesn't come easily nor is it finite. It must be perused with never ending passion to make this world a better place. As a teacher, I commit myself to providing my students with the tools they need to succeed.
Using technology is only a piece of education but it can be powerful. Never before has technology been so intertwined in our society.
- Only when I show my students how technology can be of great benefit will they use it to their advantage.
- Exposing my student to current technology will expand their own knowledge in ways that will help them shine.
Every person is entitled to learn. My goals to achieve this include working with my students to help them to overcome fear and lack of confidence. Showing them ways to push the boundaries of their goals, to think outside the box and to use those skills to reach their dreams.
I will do this daunting task by listening, encouraging and reaching out to each of my students in a patient but firm approach. Only then will we be able to see the results of hard work. When that student leaves my classroom they will stand on a foundation with which to grow upon.
